She grew up in Bethesda, attending Carderock Springs Elementary, Cabin John Jr. High and graduating from Winston Churchill High School. She then moved to Los Angeles where she attended UCLA. There Yasmin graduated with a bachelors of science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise physiology. During her years in LA, she worked with the physically and mentally challenged, as well as individuals recovering from cardiovascular disease. Yasmin admits she truly missed the Washington, DC area and after she became disillusioned with the medical profession, she moved back to Maryland in 1981... unfortunately, she was unsuccessful at finding a satisfying and challenging position in health care. In 1983, Yasmin began her career in business. She owned and operated a retail store in downtown Bethesda. During that time, she married in 1984 and had identical twin girls in 1986. As a result, she sold her business so she could spend more time with her girls. When they turned three, Yasmin decided to get back into the business world... so she chose the flexible schedule of Real Estate. Yasmin truly loves the Real Estate profession. With her background in counseling as well as her experience in business and marketing, she has been able to combine two fields that she truly enjoys. Yasmin feels that part of her job is not only to market homes, but to also help the client through the stressful process of buying and/or selling a home (usually the biggest transaction of ones life!). Yasmin currently lives in Potomac. She loves this area and its people!
